Janice Goldberg

Janice L. Goldberg is a Kennedy Center Gold Medallion Award Winner for her work with new plays. Based in NYC, she has directed over 75 new works, solo and devised, uptown and down, across the country, from university to Off-Broadway. She has worked with such noted playwrights as Gary Garrison, Carol Hall, Jeffrey Sweet, Betty Shamieh, Molly Smith Metzler, RJ Bartholomew, Jon Fraser, Joe Pintauro, among others. I Of The Storm, performed by Richard Hoehler, and directed by Janice will premiere Off Broadway in September, 2017 at the Gym at Judson. She continues to direct June Ballinger’s Once In…Never Out! up and down the East Coast. Janice co-authored plays with Susan Bigelow for over 12 years and directed each in Eureka, CA as well as Autumn Run for CAP21’s Blackjacks Festival, and at SUNY Suffolk. She also directed the Off-Broadway premiere of Rose Colored Glass (co-written with Susan Bigelow). Janice is Producing Artistic Co-Director of AND Theatre Company in NYC, a member of SDC, Dramatist’s Guild, New Circle Theatre Company.
